A BILL

TO REPEAL ARTICLE 25, CHAPTER 7, TITLE 44, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA (MUSC) SELLING AND LEASING CERTAIN ASSETS AND TO REPEAL SECTIONS 2 THROUGH 11 OF ACT 390 OF 1996 RELATING TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SALE AND LEASE OF THESE MUSC ASSETS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Article 25, Chapter 7, Title 44 of the 1976 Code is repealed.

SECTION 2. Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 of Act 390 of 1996 are repealed.

SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
