TO EXPRESS THE DEEP SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF NELL DAVIS CLARK OF SPARTANBURG COUNTY WHO DIED SUNDAY, JANUARY 11, 1998.
Whereas, Nell Davis Clark of Spartanburg, widow of Allen O. Clark, Sr., died Sunday, January 11, 1998; and
Whereas, Mrs. Clark was a Spartanburg native and the daughter of the late Roland and Edith Robbins Davis; and
Whereas, she was a graduate of Converse College and a retiree from thirty years of service with the United States Soil Conservation Service; and
Whereas, Mrs. Clark was the church librarian and member of Maranatha Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg; and
Whereas, she is survived by a daughter, Ann C. Webb, and a son, Allen O. Clark, Jr., both of Spartanburg; a sister, Kathleen Willingham of Griffin, Georgia; a brother, Carroll Davis of Cowpens; and four grandchildren. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly express their deep sympathy to the family and friends of Nell Davis Clark of Spartanburg County who died Sunday, January 11, 1998.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the family of Nell Davis Clark.
