A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING HAL HUNT JONES OF GREENVILLE COUNTY ON BEING CHOSEN TO RECEIVE THE 1998 FOOD INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.

Whereas, Hal Hunt Jones of Greenville County has been chosen to receive the 1998 Food Industry Association of South Carolina Lifetime Achievement Award; and

Whereas, Food Industry Association of South Carolina members are food processors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and academic departments throughout South Carolina, whose purpose is to promote, develop, and assist the food industry in South Carolina as an association; and

Whereas, Hal Hunt Jones' selection to receive the Food Industry Association of South Carolina Lifetime Achievement Award is a distinct honor not only for himself but for all the people of South Carolina who are benefiting from his devotion and dedication to the food industry in South Carolina; and

Whereas, we are pleased to have this opportunity to accord special recognition to one of South Carolina's outstanding citizens on such an important occurrence. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, congratulate Hal Hunt Jones of Greenville County on being selected to receive the Food Industry Association of South Carolina Lifetime Achievement Award.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Jones.
