A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-3-1977 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT CERTAIN PREGNANT WOMEN AND WOMEN WHO RECENTLY HAVE DELIVERED A BABY MAY PARK IN A HANDICAPPED PARKING PLACE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 56-3-1977. Notwithstanding another provision of law, a woman beyond her sixth month of pregnancy or who has delivered a child who is less than three months old may park in a handicapped parking place."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
