TO AMEND THE 1976 CODE BY ADDING SECTION 44-41-25 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE FACILITIES WHERE ANY ABORTIONS ARE PERFORMED, REGARDLESS OF THE TRIMESTER OF THE PREGNANCY, MUST BE REGULATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 44-41-25. Facilities where any abortions are performed, regardless of the trimester of the pregnancy, must be regulated by the Department of Health and Environmental Control."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
