A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE TWO-YEAR-OLD JOZI JEANAI GOODWIN, DAUGHTER OF JOSEPH GOODWIN AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES' OWN PAULETTE GOODWIN, ON BEING CROWNED MAY DAY QUEEN FOR FARROW HILLS DAY CARE FESTIVAL ON MAY 2, 1998.

Whereas, Jozi Jeanai Goodwin was crowned May Day Queen for Farrow Hills Day Care Festival on May 2, 1998; and

Whereas, the two-year-old lovely was born July 19, 1995, to Joseph Goodwin and the House of Representatives' own Paulette Goodwin; and

Whereas, her family and friends, especially her Mama, are virtually bursting with pride at this outstanding accomplishment in Jozi Jeanai's very first pageant; and

Whereas, her grandparents, Joseph and Rose Goodwin, her great-grandmother, Elmiria Crawford; and her godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Shiver and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Brown, all share in the excitement and pride of this special event in the life of their little "Queen"; and

Whereas, the most wonderful Mother's Day gift a mother can receive is to know that her much-loved child is enjoying happy times; and

Whereas, this joyful event is just one of the first in a huge number of life's happy occasions for Jozi Jeanai Goodwin and her folks. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly congratulate two-year-old Jozi Jeanai Goodwin, daughter of Joseph Goodwin and the House of Representatives' own Paulette Goodwin, on being crowned May Day Queen for Farrow Hills Day Care Festival on May 2, 1998.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Goodwin.
