CONGRATULATING BRENDA HART OF GREENVILLE COUNTY ON BEING CHOSEN "OUTSTANDING YOUNG AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION TEACHER IN SOUTH CAROLINA" FOR 1997.
Whereas, Brenda Hart, agricultural education teacher and FFA adviser at Blue Ridge High School in Greenville County, has been named the "Outstanding Young Agricultural Education Teacher in South Carolina" for 1997; and
Whereas, Ms. Hart teaches horticulture, equine science, agricultural science, and agricultural mechanics; under her leadership FFA Advisory Council members raised sufficient funds to underwrite the expenses for six chapter officers to attend the National FFA Convention in 1997; and
Whereas, she is an active member of the South Carolina and National Agricultural Education Teachers Associations and of Siloam Baptist Church, where she is involved in the Single's Sunday School and the Adult Choir; and
Whereas, Ms. Hart is truly an effective and dedicated teacher; she has earned the respect and admiration of her students and her peers; she is committed to excellence in South Carolina education and is highly deserving of the award bestowed upon her; and
Whereas, we are delighted to have the opportunity to accord recognition to her in this special manner. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates Brenda Hart of Greenville County on being chosen "Outstanding Young Agricultural Education Teacher in South Carolina" for 1997.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Hart.
