A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

RECOGNIZING MR. DAVID "HAPPY DADDY" MCCLOUD OF "HAPPY DADDY" TOWING SERVICE OF RICHLAND COUNTY FOR MORE THAN TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO CHILDREN.

Whereas, Mr. David "Happy Daddy" McCloud of "Happy Daddy" Towing Service of Richland County has been a dear friend and generous benefactor to children of the Midlands, always willing to work with and help young people get a good start; and

Whereas, through Mr. McCloud's interest and generosity he has improved the educational experience of the students at Pendergrass Fairwold by being a partner in education with the school; and

Whereas, he has made outstanding contributions to programs and services for children with special needs for more than twenty-five years giving his time, talents, and resources; and

Whereas, Mr. "Happy Daddy" McCloud is also an exceptional leader in the business community, a devoted family man, and an active member of Brown Chapel AME Church; and

Whereas, he is known for his friendly, courteous manner, broad smile, his strong work ethic, and his dedication and devotion to causes close to his heart; and

Whereas, the General Assembly is pleased to have this opportunity to recognize Mr. David "Happy Daddy" McCloud, a fine man and an asset to his community and the State of South Carolina. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, recognize Mr. David "Happy Daddy" McCloud of "Happy Daddy" Towing Service of Richland County for more than twenty-five years of outstanding service to children.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. David "Happy Daddy" McCloud.
