A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

COMMENDING AND THANKING ROSEMARY B. ENGLISH FOR HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF AIKEN COUNTY AND PUBLIC EDUCATION IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND EXTENDING BEST WISHES FOR HAPPINESS UPON HER RETIREMENT.

Whereas, for thirty-five years Rosemary B. English has rendered superb service to the Aiken County public schools and public education in this State; and

Whereas, Mrs. English is retiring in 1998 as Assistant Principal at Midland Valley High School; and

Whereas, she has worked hard for quality education and is admired for her contributions and accomplishments; and

Whereas, we are pleased to have the opportunity to extend recognition to her in this special manner. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commends and thanks Rosemary B. English for her outstanding service to the School District of Aiken County and public education in the Palmetto State and extends best wishes for happiness upon her retirement.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. English.
