A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

COMMENDING AND THANKING DR. CHARLES CHUCK" LEOPOLD FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF AIKEN COUNTY AND PUBLIC EDUCATION IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND EXTENDING BEST WISHES FOR HAPPINESS UPON HIS RETIREMENT.

Whereas, Dr. Charles "Chuck" Leopold has rendered superb service for thirty-one years to the Aiken County public schools and public education overall in this State; and

Whereas, Dr. Leopold is retiring in 1998 as principal of North Aiken Elementary School; and

Whereas, he has worked hard for quality education, is greatly admired and respected for his abilities, and is very deserving of recognition for his many contributions and accomplishments. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commend and thank Dr. Charles "Chuck" Leopold for his outstanding service to the school district of Aiken County and public education in South Carolina and extend best wishes for happiness upon his retirement.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Dr. Charles "Chuck" Leopold.
