A BILL

TO AMEND CHAPTER 13, TITLE 50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE PROTECTION OF FISH AND RESTRICTIONS ON FISHING, BY ADDING SECTION 50-13-400 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR SIZE AND CATCH LIMITS FOR LARGE-MOUTH BASS IN LAKES BOWEN AND BLALOCK IN SPARTANBURG COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 50-13-400. It is unlawful to take or possess large-mouth bass in a number greater than four for each person for each day and in a size less than fifteen inches in length in Lakes Bowen and Blalock, located in Spartanburg County. A person violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined in an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars or imprisoned for a term not to exceed thirty days."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
