A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF T. NELSON BOHELER OF CHEROKEE COUNTY UPON HIS DEATH.

Whereas, the members of the Senate are deeply saddened to learn of the recent death of T. Nelson Boheler of Gaffney at the age of eighty.

Whereas, Mr. Boheler was born in York County, the son of the late Arthur Graham Boheler and the late Mary Cobb Boheler Anthony; and

Whereas, he was married to the late Vada Sellars Boheler; the father of one son, Ronnie Boheler of Gaffney and two daughters, Kathy Hensley and Barbara Shackleford, both of Gaffney; and the grandfather of six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and

Whereas, Mr. Boheler was a World War II veteran and retired from the Air Force Reserve; and

Whereas, he was retired from the United States Post Office in Gaffney, a member of Grassy Pond Baptist Church and a Master Mason with Granard Lodge 186; and

Whereas, we want the members of his family and friends to know that they are uppermost in our thoughts and prayers. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate hereby express appreciation for T. Nelson Boheler's life and he will be greatly missed..

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the family of Mr. Boheler.
