TO EXPRESS THE PROFOUND SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE UPON LEARNING OF THE DEATH OF KIMBERLY GAIL MEDLOCK OF WARRENVILLE AND TO EXTEND THEIR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate were deeply saddened to learn of the tragic and untimely death of Miss Kimberly Gail Medlock, age 16, on December 13, 1999; and
Whereas, Miss Medlock was the daughter of Debra Lewis Medlock and the late Charles Andrew "Andy" Medlock and the sister of Heather Medlock; and
Whereas, Kimberly Gail Medlock, age 16, was a vivacious, energetic teenager, active in church and school activities, before her untimely death cut short her precious life; and
Whereas, she was a junior at Midland Valley High School where she was a member of DECA, the Spanish Club, and Powder Puff football; and
Whereas, Miss Medlock was a loyal member of Christian Heritage Church where she was actively involved in the Youth Aflame Sunday School Class and where she helped with the children of the church in the church nursery; and
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, would like to express their deepest sympathy to Kimberly's family and many friends. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate express their profound sorrow upon learning of the death of Kimberly Gail Medlock and extend their deepest sympathy to her family and many friends.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Debra Lewis and Heather MedLock of Warrenville, South Carolina.
