A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE RYAN WILLIAMS ON WINNING THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE DUCK CALLING CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, Ryan Williams of Hemingway, South Carolina, won the prestigious South Carolina State Duck Calling Championship; and

Whereas, Mr. Williams will now represent South Carolina in the World Duck Calling Championship match later this year; and

Whereas, Mr. Williams entered last year's World Championship contest ranked twenty-fourth in the standings having won the Swamp Fox Regional Championship; and

Whereas, Mr. Williams's victory is the result of patience and perseverance as he has entered the state competition for six years; and

Whereas, Mr. Williams is an ambassador of goodwill for his State; and

Whereas, Mr. Williams is a dedicated law enforcement officer in Georgetown County; and

Whereas, the members of the Senate wish to congratulate Mr. Williams on his exceptional performance and outstanding victory in the competition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate extend their heartiest congratulations to Mr. Ryan Williams of Hemingway, South Carolina, on winning the South Carolina State Duck Calling Championship and wish him well in the World Championship competition.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Ryan Williams.
