A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF FRANCIS R. "FRANK" HOUSE OF YORK COUNTY WHO DIED ON MARCH 28, 1999, AT THE AGE OF NINETY-ONE.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were saddened to learn that Francis R. "Frank" House of York County died on March 28, 1999, at the age of ninety-one; and

Whereas, Frank House retired from Westinghouse in 1976 where he had worked for thirty years; and

Whereas, he was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Skaneateles Masonic Lodge No. 522 F. and A.M. in Skaneateles, New York; and

Whereas, he was a life member of the American's Welding Society; and

Whereas, Frank House was an unselfish individual who, in his later years, gave of himself to ensure that those not able to care for themselves were fed by delivering meals to shut-ins; and

Whereas, Mr. House touched many lives in his ninety-one years on this earth; and

Whereas, Mr. Frank House will be sorely missed by all with whom he came in contact with; and

Whereas, Mr. House is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Mrs. Irene Demarest House. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly express their profound sorrow to the friends and family of Mr. Francis R. "Frank" House of Rock Hill who died on March 28, 1999.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Irene Demarest House.
