TO AMEND SECTION 50-13-1192, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE TYPE AND NUMBER OF NON-GAME FISHING DEVICES THAT MAY BE USED IN CERTAIN BODIES OF FRESHWATER, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT FIFTY IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF SET HOOKS FOR EACH LICENSE HOLDER IN THE CONGAREE RIVER.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 50-13-1192 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 350 of 1994, is further amended by adding an appropriately numbered subitem to read:
"( ) Congaree River, which includes the waters from the Interstate 77 bridge in Columbia to the confluence of the Congaree and Wateree Rivers: set hooks, fifty maximum for each license holder."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
