A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO PLACE SIGNS THAT CONTAIN THE CAPTION "COWPENS HISTORICAL BATTLEFIELD" AND THAT INDICATE THE DIRECTION TO THE BATTLEFIELD ON INTERSTATE 85 AT EXITS 92 AND SCENIC HIGHWAY 11.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, request the Department of Transportation to place signs that contain the caption "Cowpens Historical Battlefield" and that indicate the direction to the battlefield on Interstate 85 at exits 92 and Scenic Highway 11.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
