TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 1-11-780 SO AS TO REQUIRE THE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD, OFFICE OF INSURANCE SERVICES, TO PROVIDE CONTRACEPTIVE PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE UNDER THE STATE HEALTH PLAN.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 1-11-780. The Budget and Control Board, Office of Insurance Services, shall provide contraceptive prescription coverage under the State Health Plan."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect January 1, 2001
