A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE RIDGE VIEW HIGH SCHOOL "BLAZERS" BOYS SOCCER TEAM, HEAD COACH, KEVIN DARLINGTON, AND HIS STAFF ON WINNING THE 2000 CLASS AAAA LOWER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are proud to recognize the Ridge View High School "Blazers" Boys Soccer Team on their successful 2000 season and on winning the 2000 Class AAAA Lower State Championship; and

Whereas, the "Blazers" Boys Soccer Team includes the following players: Chris Rutledge, David Stovall, Michael Rufail, Anthony Stovall, Blake Hardee, Keegan Sacko, Nick Hansell, Brandon Zackry, Matt Bynum, John Ouzounidis, Ryan Gawler, Michael Lorick, Bill Surles, Jody Davis, Harry Vasquez, Cody Perrot, Daniel Lee, Edwin Canales, Thomas Hughes, and Justin Agema; and

Whereas, the "Blazers" championship season would not have been possible without the support of Ridge View High School's administration, faculty, staff, parents, and many loyal fans and supporters; and

Whereas, Head Coach, Kevin Darlington, and his staff's hard work and perseverance provided the leadership and support that enabled the "Blazers" to accomplish this great achievement; and

Whereas, the success of the Ridge View High School "Blazers" Boys Soccer Team has brought great pride to their school and community; and

Whereas, it is appropriate for the members of the General Assembly to recognize the great achievements of the Ridge View High School "Blazers" Boys Soccer Team, Head Coach, Kevin Darlington, and his staff. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, extend their congratulations to the Ridge View High School "Blazers" Boys Soccer Team, Head Coach, Kevin Darlington, and his staff, for an exceptional season and on winning the 2000 Class AAAA Lower State Championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Ridge View High School "Blazers" Boys Soccer Team Head Coach, Kevin Darlington.
