TO EXPRESS THE PROFOUND APPRECIATION OF THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO GALE RIGBY KENNEDY, SECRETARY TO SENATORS WARREN GIESE AND GREG RYBERG, FOR THE DELICIOUS HOMEMADE CAKES SHE HAS BROUGHT TO THE SENATE CHAMBER DURING THE VIDEO POKER FILIBUSTERS.

Whereas, Gale Rigby Kennedy, a loyal Senate employee who works for Senators Warren Giese and Greg Ryberg, is also well known for her culinary talents, and the cookbook she has authored entitled "Catering to Columbia"; and

Whereas, the Senators are fortunate that Gale, from time to time, enjoys "Catering to the Senate"; and

Whereas, she provides the Senate and staff with many delicacies that she has graciously prepared; and

Whereas, this day the Senate was so pleased to find four delicious homemade cakes waiting for them in the Senate cloakroom; and

Whereas, the Senate appreciates greatly all the special "enticements" that make the time spent in the State House and Senate Chamber during the video poker filibusters go by pleasantly. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate,

That the members of the Senate express profound appreciation to Gale Rigby Kennedy, secretary to Senators Warren Giese and Greg Ryberg, for the delicious homemade cakes she has brought to the Senate Chamber during the video poker filibusters for the pleasure of the Senate.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Gale Rigby Kennedy.
