A BILL

TO AMEND ACT 178 OF 1999, RELATING TO THE BERKELEY COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL BOND-PROPERTY TAX RELIEF ACT, BY REPEALING SECTION 9, RELATING TO A REFERENDUM ON A SPECIAL ONE PERCENT SALES AND USE TAX FOR NOT MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS IN BERKELEY COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 9 of Act 178 of 1999 is repealed.

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
