SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The Board of Long Term Health Care Administrators is considering drafting regulations to allow nursing home administrator applicants and community residential care facility administrator applicants to sit for computer based testing instead of the written licensure examination. The regulation would also require community residential care facility administrator applicants to pass both the national examination and the state examination for licensure. Both of the national nursing home administrator and residential care administrator examinations will only be offered as computer based testing in the year 2000.
