A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO WAIVE FROM MOTOR VEHICLE TITLING, LICENSING, AND REGISTRATION LAWS MOTOR VEHICLES PROVIDED FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES BY AN AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURER IN CONNECTION WITH A NATIONALLY-SPONSORED NASCAR RACING EVENT HELD IN THIS STATE IN 2001.

Be it further resolved that this waiver must extend to no more than thirty-five cars by a single manufacturer for a period not to exceed twenty-one days and that this waiver does not extend to the financial responsibility or insurance coverage requirements for operating a motor vehicle on the public roads of this State.
