Whereas, Frank Smith served as director, vice president, president, district governor, president of the South Carolina Lions Sight Conservation Association, treasurer of the South Carolina Eye Bank, and initiated the effort that led to the building of a facility for South Carolina Lions Inc., which is presently housed across the street from the Lexington Medical Center; and
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and thank these four outstanding South Carolinians and the Cayce-West Columbia Lions Club for all they have done to make their community and State a better place over a period approaching fifty years.
