A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976 BY ADDING SECTION 40-1-195 SO AS TO REQUIRE BOARDS UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION TO INCLUDE IN LICENSURE AND RENEWAL INFORMATION THAT WORKPLACE NOTICES AND SIGNAGE REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE POSTED ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE APPROPRIATE STATE AGENCY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

    "Section 40-1-195.    When a board distributes initial licensure information and renewal notices, it shall include information that copies of workplace notices and signage that are required by law to be posted are available from the appropriate state agency.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
