A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING SORROW AT THE DEATH OF MRS. MARIE DEASON CLEMENT, AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, Mrs. Marie Deason Clement died January 13, 2002, at the age of sixty-two; and

Whereas, Mrs. Clement was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she was a partner with her husband Joe, to whom she was married for forty-two years, in their successful businesses; she produced beautiful porcelain art work, was a member of the Pallet and Porcelain Artist Association of the CSRA, and was a master seamstress; and

Whereas, she was admired and loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina express deepest sorrow at the death of Mrs. Marie Deason Clement and extends heartfelt sympathy to her family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Clement's family.
