A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING JERRY HIGHTOWER OF SPARTANBURG COUNTY ON BEING CHOSEN FOR THE "SOUTH CAROLINA ENTREPRENEUR OF EXCELLENCE AWARD" BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

Whereas, Jerry Hightower of Spartanburg County has been chosen for the "South Carolina Entrepreneur of Excellence Award" by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce; and

Whereas, Mr. Hightower is president and owner of Bondtex, Inc. of Duncan; most of Mr. Hightower's efforts at Bondtex are concentrated in sales and marketing, financial and strategic planning, and guiding his management team; and

Whereas, he grew up in the textile industry in upstate South Carolina and is a natural leader and executive; the success of his business endeavors have meant much to the people of the Palmetto State, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to recognize him in this special way. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates Jerry Hightower of Spartanburg County on being chosen for the "South Carolina Entrepreneur of Excellence Award" by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Hightower.
