A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE FOR THE LEVY OF SCHOOL TAX MILLAGE FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES IN DILLON COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2002, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School tax millage
SECTION 1. The school tax millage which was levied in Dillon County for school purposes for fiscal year 2001-2002 is reimposed for fiscal year 2002-2003, except that the ten mill levy for school buildings or debt service and one-half mill levied for the Dillon County Technical Center must be used for general school purposes and operations with seventy percent allocated to Dillon School District Two, fifteen percent to the Lakeview area schools, and fifteen percent to the Latta area schools.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 14th day of May, 2002.
