A HOUSE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE LADY RAMS OF HILLCREST HIGH SCHOOL OF GREENVILLE COUNTY ON WINNING THE CLASS AAAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN SOFTBALL FOR 2002.

Whereas, the Lady Rams of Hillcrest High School of Greenville County have captured the Class AAAA state championship in softball for 2002; and

Whereas, Hillcrest swept the championship series against Walterboro High School for the title; and

Whereas, the Lady Rams completed a perfect 40-0 season for 2002, an amazing accomplishment; and

Whereas, the team members' talent, determination, hard work, and unity all combined to propel the Lady Rams to the state crown; and

Whereas, a state championship is a singular achievement deserving of special recognition, and we are indeed pleased to be able to accord the team the honor it so richly deserves. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the Lady Rams of Hillcrest High School of Greenville County on winning the Class AAAA state championship in softball for 2002.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Hillcrest High School.
