A BILL

TO ENACT THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOMELAND SECURITY ACT SO AS TO PROMOTE THE SECURITY OF SOUTH CAROLINIANS IN THEIR ENJOYMENT OF LIFE AND LIBERTY AND IN THE PROTECTION OF THEIR PROPERTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. This act may be cited as the "South Carolina Homeland Security Act".

SECTION 2. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
