$0 (No additional expenditures or savings are expected)

EXPLANATION OF IMPACT:

    The Department of Social Services states this bill would have no impact on the General Fund of the State as the agency does not incur any cost related to the council. There would not be a fiscal impact on federal and/or other funds.

A BILL

TO REPEAL ARTICLE 21, CHAPTER 7, TITLE 20, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE STATE COUNCIL ON MATERNAL, INFANT, AND CHILD HEALTH ACT, THE CREATION OF THE COUNCIL AND PROVIDING FOR ITS POWERS AND DUTIES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 21, Chapter 7, Title 20 of the 1976 Code is repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
