A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 48-1-95 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A BOAT RAMP APPLICATION NOT ACTED UPON WITHIN NINETY DAYS OF BEING FILED IS DEEMED APPROVED.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

    "Section 48-1-95.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, when an application for a boat ramp permit is not acted upon within ninety days of the filing of the application, the application is deemed approved."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
