The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator WILSON.

S. 770 (Word version) -- Senator Jackson: A SENATE RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS THE PROFOUND SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE UPON THE DEATH OF MRS. AUDREY MINTZ DAYSON OF CALHOUN COUNTY AND TO EXTEND DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

S. 766 (Word version) -- Senators Glover and Elliott: A BILL TO AMEND AN UNNUMBERED ACT OF 2001 BEARING RATIFICATION NUMBER 145, RELATING TO THE NAME AND GOVERNANCE OF MARION COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SEVEN, SO AS TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE DISTRICT TO LOWER MARION COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT THREE.

On motion of Senator RITCHIE, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. Roy Lane, City Manger of Spartanburg, S.C.
