VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO REPEAL SECTION 9-1-2210, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TEACHER AND EMPLOYEE RETENTION INCENTIVE PROGRAM (TERI) AND TO GIVE THIS REPEAL PROSPECTIVE EFFECT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 9-1-2210 of the 1976 Code is repealed effective for an active member of the South Carolina Retirement System on or after the effective date of this act unless the member has filed a timely application for service retirement as of the effective date of this act.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
