AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 187 OF 1999, RELATING TO PAYMENT FOR ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS OF THE DILLON COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT MEMBERS MAY BE PAID FOR NOT MORE THAN TWELVE MEETINGS A YEAR RATHER THAN TEN.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Payment for meetings

SECTION    1.    Section 2 of Act 187 of 1999 is amended to read:

"Section    2.    The Dillon County Transportation Committee shall receive the payment authorized in Section 1 upon issuance of approved vouchers by its chairman. However, in any single fiscal year, the chairman may not approve vouchers which authorize payment for more than twelve meetings for each fiscal year for a member of the committee."

Time effective

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
