TO PROVIDE THAT SCHOOL DISTRICTS ONE THROUGH FOUR OF YORK COUNTY MAY NOT EXCEED THE CAP SET FOR MILLAGE ALLOWED TO BE ESTABLISHED TO COMPLY WITH THE MAINTENANCE OF LOCAL EFFORT REQUIREMENT PURSUANT TO THE EDUCATION FINANCE ACT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding another provision of law, School Districts One through Four of York County may not exceed the cap set for millage allowed to be established in a year to comply with the maintenance of local effort requirement pursuant to the Education Finance Act.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
