TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL, RELATING TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF POOLS IN AREAS SEAWARD OF THE BASELINE, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2759, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 39, TITLE 48 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Health and Environmental Control, relating to the construction of pools in areas seaward of the baseline, designated as Regulation Document Number 2759, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 39, Title 48 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The department is amending R.30-15.F(6)(b) to clarify the regulation of the construction of pools in areas seaward of the baseline. The amendment is necessary to clarify an existing regulation.
