A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 42-1-360, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS EXEMPT FROM THE SOUTH CAROLINA WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAW, SO AS TO EXEMPT PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TEAMS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 42-1-360 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding a new item at the end to read:

"(6)    Professional sports teams."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
