A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO PROVIDE FOR AN ELEVEN MILL INCREASE IN THE LEVY OF TAXES FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES IN DILLON COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2003, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2004.

Amend Title To Conform

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The taxes which were imposed in Dillon County for school purposes for fiscal year 2002-2003 are reimposed for fiscal year 2003-2004; and an additional eleven mills are imposed for fiscal year 2003-2004, eight of which shall be for school operations and three of which shall be for debt service.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
