A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL, RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT OF SUBDIVISION WATER SUPPLY AND SEWAGE TREATMENT/DISPOSAL SYSTEMS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2830, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The regulations of the Department of Health and Environmental Control, relating to Development of Subdivision Water Supply and Sewage Treatment/Disposal Systems, designated as Regulation Document Number 2830, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

Regulation.61-57, Development of Subdivision Water Supply and Sewage Treatment/Disposal Systems, was promulgated pursuant to S.C. Code Section 44-1-140 et seq. and Section 48-1-10 et seq. and was last amended on February 25, 2000. Since the last revision, there have been numerous requests from the regulated community to review and further amend this regulation. This revision will incorporate changes requested by the regulated community.
