A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO EXTEND THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO MRS. JOSEPHINE HOLLEY EUBANKS ON THE OCCASION OF HER NINETIETH BIRTHDAY AND TO WISH HER WELL IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives take time to recognize Mrs. Josephine Holley Eubanks of Aiken County on this momentous occasion and commend her upon reaching the age of ninety; and

Whereas, Josephine Holley Eubanks was born in Aiken County on January 18, 1914, and has resided in Aiken County all of her life; and

Whereas, Mrs. Eubanks was married to the late Edward Wayne Eubanks, with whom she had five children, Edward (Jake), Steve, Richard, Ted, and Ann; and

Whereas, along with fulfilling her role as mother, Mrs. Eubanks is also a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother with an extended group of family and friends; and

Whereas, a member of the Pentecost Methodist Church, Mrs. Eubanks has spent many years volunteering and serving the church through both community and church activities; and

Whereas, throughout her life Mrs. Eubanks has been a devoted mother, loving wife, nurturing grandmother and great-grandmother, an excellent homemaker, and each day of her long life has brought a sparkle to the lives of those who love her so dearly. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, extend their congratulations to Mrs. Josephine Holley Eubanks, of Aiken County, on the occasion of her ninetieth birthday and wish her well in all of her future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Josephine Holley Eubanks.
