A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE MRS. RUBY BLUE PAGE OF DILLON, SOUTH CAROLINA, FOR WINNING THE PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL HEAD START ASSOCIATION "STAFF OF THE YEAR" AWARD.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were very pleased to learn that Mrs. Ruby Blue Page of Dillon has won the "Staff of the Year" Award of the National Head Start Association; and

Whereas, this prestigious award is presented to a Head Start employee who has exemplified a strong work ethic, outstanding dedication to children and their families, and a commitment to the local community; and

Whereas, Mrs. Page is a culinary technician at the Hamer Head Start Center in Dillon, and her tenure spans twenty years with the Pee Dee Community Action Partnership; and

Whereas, she contributes daily to the health and well-being of Head Start children and has set high standards for herself and inspires excellence from others; and

Whereas, in keeping with the highest standards of excellence Mrs. Page through her work has brought great credit not only upon herself but upon the Pee Dee Community Action Partnership and Dillon County as well; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate this wonderful and dedicated lady upon her receipt of this truly deserved award. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly congratulate Mrs. Ruby Blue Page of Dillon, South Carolina, for winning the prestigious National Head Start Association "Staff of the Year" Award.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Page.
