TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, RELATING TO SEASONS, LIMITS, AND HUNTING METHODS OF WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2819, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, SECTION 12, ACT 176 OF 1977.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Natural Resources, relating to seasons, limits, and hunting methods of Wildlife Management Areas, designated as Regulation Document Number 2819, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Section 12, Act 176 of 1977, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The department is amending R.123-40 to establish changes and include additional Wildlife Management Areas. This amendment sets seasons, bag limits, and methods of hunting and taking of wildlife on Wildlife Management Areas. This amendment is necessary to make changes and add new Wildlife Management Areas.
