A SENATE RESOLUTION

RECOGNIZING GEOFFREY J. MASON, DEPUTY STATE DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY CARE SYSTEMS, SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH, FOR HIS TIRELESS DEDICATION AND YEARS OF INVALUABLE SERVICE, AND TO EXTEND BEST WISHES IN HIS CONTINUED GOOD WORK AT THE DEPARTMENT.

Whereas, Geoffrey J. Mason has served the State of South Carolina since 1983 in various critical functions of state government; and

Whereas, Mr. Mason, since his employment with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, has personified the virtues of protecting the public trust, ethically executing his duties and responsibilities; and

Whereas, Geoffrey Mason has continually executed his duties as the Director of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health Community Care Systems with integrity, courage, and honor. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, recognize Mr. Geoffrey J. Mason for his tireless dedication and years of invaluable service, and to extend best wishes for his continued good work at the Department of Mental Health.

Be if further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Geoffrey J. Mason.
