Whereas, a member of Boy Scout Troup 708, he was a Cub, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and Webelo Scout. In May 2001, he received Boy Scout status and quickly moved through the ranks, passing the Eagle Board of Review February 28, 2006; and

Whereas, participating in the Boy Scouts of America requires dedication and long-term commitment to community service; and

Martin, a sophomore at Pee Dee Academy in Mullins, has perfect attendance, never having missed a day of school since the first grade.
