To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (S. 331) to request that the Department of Transportation name the bridge over the Lynches River on Highway 52 between Effingham and Lake City in memory of Deputy Joseph C. Rodgers and install appropriate, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NAME THE BRIDGE OVER THE LYNCHES RIVER ON HIGHWAY 52 BETWEEN EFFINGHAM AND LAKE CITY IN MEMORY OF DEPUTY JOSEPH C. RODGERS AND INSTALL APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS AT THE BRIDGE.

Whereas, Deputy Joseph C. Rodgers served the people of Florence County with honor and distinction as a Deputy Sheriff; and

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation and the family of Deputy Joseph C. Rodgers.
