To whom was referred a Bill (H. 3963) to designate the portion of United States Highway 17 located in Colleton County as Ace Basin Scenic, etc., respectfully
That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

TO DESIGNATE THE PORTION OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 17 LOCATED IN COLLETON COUNTY AS ACE BASIN SCENIC PARKWAY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding another provision of law, the portion of United States Highway 17 located in Colleton County from the Edisto River to the Combahee River is designated as a scenic parkway to be known as the ACE Basin Scenic Parkway. The Department of Transportation, the Department of Archives and History, and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism shall cooperate in the installation of appropriate markers and signs to implement this designation. Any new off-premises outdoor advertising is prohibited along the ACE Basin Scenic Parkway after the effective date of this act.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
