Whereas, the strong faith and belief of the members of NewSpring Community Church congregation, the leadership and dedication of Pastor Noble, and the work of God have helped build NewSpring Community Church into such a great place of worship; and

Whereas, Pastor Perry Noble began leading a Bible study on the campus of Anderson College in the fall of 1998; and

Whereas, after the first week of the Bible study, the attendance grew from eight students to over 150; and

Whereas, in 1999, following in the Lord's footsteps, Pastor Noble began to realize the need for a new church in Anderson County to help spread the Word of God and seek fellowship from residents of the community; and

Whereas, Pastor Noble's vision and determination, along with fifteen other people, helped form NewSpring Community Church; and

Whereas, on January 16, 2000, after extensive prayer and hard work to get everything in order, NewSpring held its first service in a local chapel with 115 people in attendance; and

Whereas, by August of 2000, NewSpring had to add an additional service to accommodate the tremendous growth of the congregation; and

Whereas, in the fall on 2001, NewSpring was forced to move from the 150 seat chapel to the 1,100 seat Fine Arts Center at Anderson College due to the overflow of people seeking to hear God's Word; and

Whereas, today, Pastor Noble is preaching in four services to over 4,000 people every weekend while waiting to move into NewSpring's new 2,500 seat worship facility. Now, therefore,
