VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-1-2157 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DRIVER OF ANY RECREATIONAL VEHICLE IS NOT REQUIRED TO POSSESS A COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 13, Chapter 1, Title 56 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 56-1-2157. Notwithstanding another provision of law, the driver of any recreational vehicle as defined in Section 56-1-2030(20) is not required to possess a commercial driver's license."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
