VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE JAMES T. WAGNER III OF CHARLESTON COUNTY FOR HIS OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO HIS SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY AND TO HONOR HIM FOR HIS EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE IN THE NAVAL JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICER TRAINING CORPS.
Whereas, it is with great pride that the South Carolina Senate recognizes young citizens who exhibit exceptional maturity and charisma, and who are destined to do great things for their individual communities and the State as a whole; and
Whereas, a far cry from a typical high school student, James Wagner shows focused discipline and drive in every endeavor he undertakes and has earned outstanding praise on behalf of himself and his school; and
Whereas, heavily decorated for his performance as a cadet in the NJROTC, Mr. Wagner received the Military Aptitude Award, the Outstanding Cadet Award, the Exemplary Conduct Award, and the Distinguished Cadet Award for North Charleston High School in the Spring of 2005; and
Whereas, he has also been awarded two medals for orienteering, fourteen medals for the rifle team, and one ribbon as Color Guard Commander, among countless other honors; and
Whereas, Mr. Wagner was selected to attend the NJROTC Leadership Academy during the Summer of 2004, where he represented himself and his school exceptionally well in earning a Silver Aiguillette for leadership; and
Whereas, James T. Wagner III is deserving of public recognition for his hard work and dedication in the North Charleston High School NJROTC program and for serving as a veritable role model for all South Carolina public school students. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize James T. Wagner III of Charleston County for his outstanding contributions to his school and community and honor him for his extraordinary performance in the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. James T. Wagner III of Charleston County.
